We look at you as a whole person
We don’t just focus on symptoms or diagnoses. We’ll talk about your sleep, stress, relationships, work, lifestyle, and what’s going on in your life — because all of these affect your mental health. For example, if anxiety is part of what you’re experiencing, we might explore your sleep habits, caffeine intake, daily stress, and support system — not just medication.Your care is collaborative, not one-size-fits-all
You are the expert on your life. We bring clinical knowledge and guidance, and we make decisions together. You’ll always have a say in your treatment plan. If medication is an option, we’ll talk through the pros, cons, and alternatives so you can choose what feels right for you.We take time to really understand your story
Appointments are unrushed so you don’t feel like just another number. You’ll have time to share what’s been going on and what you’re hoping for. Your first visit is longer so we can explore your history, your current challenges, and your goals in depth. We offer integrative options beyond medication
Medication can be helpful, but it’s not the only tool. When appropriate, we can also explore things like supplements, sleep support, stress management, nutrition, mindfulness, and lifestyle changes. For instance, if you’re feeling low or burned out, we might focus on improving sleep routines, gentle movement, and daily structure alongside therapy or medication. We care about real, sustainable progress
We’re not here to rush you or push quick fixes. We’ll move at your pace, meeting you where you are, and adjust your plan as your needs change. If something isn’t working for you, we’ll revisit it together and make thoughtful changes. This is a safe, supportive space
You don’t have to have everything figured out before you start. You’re welcome exactly as you are. Even if you’re unsure whether you “need” care yet, we can talk it through during a free 15-minute consultation. -
Firstly, you don’t need to have a diagnosis to seek support. Many people come in simply knowing that something doesn’t feel right—and together, we sort through what’s going on and what kind of support will help you feel better.
Depression
Depression isn’t just feeling sad. It can show up as feeling numb, exhausted, unmotivated, or disconnected from yourself or others. You might notice low energy, changes in sleep or appetite, loss of interest in things you used to enjoy, feeling stuck, hopeless, or hard on yourself, or feeling like everything takes more effort than it should. Some people describe it as feeling “heavy,” emotionally flat, or like they’re just going through the motions.
If you’ve been feeling low, burned out, or not like yourself for weeks at a time, you don’t have to figure it out alone.Anxiety
Anxiety often feels like your mind won’t shut off or your body is always on edge. You might be overthinking, worrying constantly, feeling tense, restless, irritable, or having trouble relaxing or sleeping. Some people experience physical symptoms like a racing heart, tight chest, stomach issues, or feeling on high alert all the time. Others notice anxiety showing up as people-pleasing, perfectionism, or fear of letting others down.
If you feel constantly stressed, overwhelmed, or stuck in your head, anxiety may be part of what’s going on—and support can help.ADHD (Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder)
ADHD in adults doesn’t always look like hyperactivity. It often shows up as difficulty focusing, staying organized, managing time, following through on tasks, or feeling mentally scattered. You might start things with good intentions but struggle to finish, forget appointments, feel overwhelmed by daily responsibilities, or feel frustrated with yourself for not being able to “just get it together.” Many adults with ADHD are intelligent, capable, and hardworking—but feel burned out from constantly trying to keep up.
If you’ve always felt scattered, easily distracted, disorganized, or mentally overwhelmed—especially in work or daily life—ADHD may be worth exploring. -

We are an out-of-network practice and do not accept health insurance. We can provide superbills (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement if you have a PPO plan.
Being out of network allows us to offer longer, unrushed sessions, more personalized care, and greater flexibility in your treatment — without the restrictions or limitations that often come with insurance-based care.
Please note that medications and lab work are often covered by insurance even if your visits with us are not, though coverage and costs can vary by plan.
For the most accurate information about your benefits, we recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about out-of-network mental health reimbursement, medication coverage, and lab benefits.

Payment is due at the time of service.

Integrative psychiatry is a whole person approach that looks at your mental health as part of your whole life — not something separate from your body, habits, or experiences. Instead of focusing only on symptoms or diagnoses, we explore how sleep, stress, nutrition, movement, relationships, and daily routines all influence how you feel.
Medication can be helpful for some people, but it’s not always the only answer. We take a balanced approach — using medication when it makes sense, and also exploring other supportive options when appropriate.
This may include things like improving sleep, building healthier routines, managing stress, mindfulness practices, gentle movement or exercise, and nutrition support. As part of this, we may check lab work to look at vitamin and nutrient levels or other metabolic factors that can impact mood and mental health. Understanding these factors helps us create a more precise and personalized plan.
For some people, care may also include complementary approaches like yoga, meditation, acupuncture, or evidence-based supplements — always in a thoughtful, evidence-based way.
Our goal is not just to help you feel better now, but to equip you with sustainable strategies and valuable practices that you can carry forward long after your time with us. This ensures your mental wellness becomes something you can maintain and grow, supporting your life in meaningful, lasting ways.

A nurse practitioner is an advanced practice licensed clinician trained to diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, and create personalized treatment plans. Because NPs begin their careers as nurses, their approach is naturally holistic, relational, and patient‑centered.
At The Seen Space, this means you’re cared for by someone who looks at the whole picture — your symptoms, your story, your environment, and your goals — to support your mental wellness in a way that feels thoughtful, collaborative, and personalized.

We approach benzodiazepines with great care. These medications can be helpful for some people, but they are not a first‑line option in our practice. During the initial stages of treatment, we will focus on safer, evidence‑based interventions to address your symptoms.
If, after a thorough evaluation, a benzodiazepine is clinically appropriate, we may consider prescribing it. This requires clear documentation of your previous safe use (such as medical records & pharmacy history). Even with these steps, prescribing is not guaranteed.
Our priority is your long‑term wellbeing, and any controlled medication is used only when it is truly indicated for short-term use and can be managed safely.
