    • Want to incorporate lifestyle strategies alongside your treatment plan

    • Prefer longer, unrushed sessions

    Depression

    Mood issues

  • Yes, we provide telehealth services only. You will be provided a unique secure link to join your scheduled appointment.

  • We are an out-of-network practice and do not accept health insurance. We can provide superbills (an itemized receipt) that you can submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement if you have a PPO plan.

Being out of network allows us to offer longer, unrushed sessions, more personalized care, and greater flexibility in your treatment — without the restrictions or limitations that often come with insurance-based care.

Please note that medications and lab work are often covered by insurance even if your visits with us are not, though coverage and costs can vary by plan.

For the most accurate information about your benefits, we recommend contacting your insurance provider to ask about out-of-network mental health reimbursement, medication coverage, and lab benefits.

If you are in need of an insurance-based provider, we are be happy to refer you to one of our trusted colleagues!

  • Payment is due at the time of service.
We accept major credit/debit cards, and HSA/FSA cards.

  • Integrative psychiatry is a whole person approach that looks at your mental health as part of your whole life — not something separate from your body, habits, or experiences. Instead of focusing only on symptoms or diagnoses, we explore how sleep, stress, nutrition, movement, relationships, and daily routines all influence how you feel.

Medication can be helpful for some people, but it’s not always the only answer. We take a balanced approach — using medication when it makes sense, and also exploring other supportive options when appropriate.

This may include things like improving sleep, building healthier routines, managing stress, mindfulness practices, gentle movement or exercise, and nutrition support. As part of this, we may check lab work to look at vitamin and nutrient levels or other metabolic factors that can impact mood and mental health. Understanding these factors helps us create a more precise and personalized plan — which is why a spacious, unrushed initial visit is so valuable.

For some people, care may also include complementary approaches like yoga, meditation, acupuncture, or evidence-based supplements — always in a thoughtful, evidence-based way.

Our goal is not just to help you feel better now, but to equip you with sustainable strategies and valuable practices that you can carry forward long after your time with us. This ensures your mental wellness becomes something you can maintain and grow, supporting your life in meaningful, lasting ways.

    What integrative psychiatry is not:

    • Just supplements

    • Anti-medication or anti-psychiatry

    • A one-size-fits-all approach

    • Only focused on symptoms

    • Quick fixes or trends

    • An alternative to medical care

    • A replacement for therapy or other supportive care

  • A nurse practitioner is an advanced practice licensed clinician trained to diagnose conditions, prescribe medication, and create personalized treatment plans. Because NPs begin their careers as nurses, their approach is naturally holistic, relational, and patient‑centered.

At The Seen Space, this means you’re cared for by someone who looks at the whole picture — your symptoms, your story, your environment, and your goals — to support your mental wellness in a way that feels thoughtful, collaborative, and personalized.

  • We approach benzodiazepines with great care. These medications can be helpful for some people, but they are not a first‑line option in our practice. During the initial stages of treatment, we will focus on safer, evidence‑based interventions to address your symptoms.

Our priority is your long‑term wellbeing, and any controlled medication is used only when it is truly indicated for short-term use and can be managed safely.

  • To protect appointment availability for all clients, we ask that cancellations or rescheduling be made at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations, reschedules, or missed appointments may be subject to a fee. Full details are available in our policies.

This policy helps maintain a consistent, supportive schedule for all clients and ensures that your reserved time is honored.
